About David
Dr. Altounian is a leading authority on technology, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He received his MBA from Northwestern at the prestigious Kellogg School and later earned his PhD from Oklahoma State. David has over 30 years of experience as an executive in leading technology firms (e.g., Dell Computers, Compaq, Motorola) and successfully launched and managed his own firm, Motion Computing (leader in rugged tablet business solutions) as the founder, CEO, and chairman of the board. David has since started his second career as a professor of Entrepreneurship at St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. AOE is thankful to have Dr. Altounian’s expertise guiding our efforts to grow and enable the most technologically advanced and user-friendly assessment platform. Some of his other accomplishments include:
- Directed the relaunch of Dell Notebook Computers in 1994 and the creation and launch of Precision Workstation in 1997
- Significant international experience: 2 years in UK for Dell among other assignments spanning Europe, Africa, and the Middle East
